… all the way to cabbage rose season (along with any-season Peruvian lilies), which were featured in these pages at just this time of year three years ago (here). They may be humble but they sure last. This is the last of a bigger bunch that I got …. at least a week ago (maybe more?)!
My new office still needs quite a bit of organizing, but at least I have some key works of art installed!

It seems like this photo could have been taken at any one of so many places! It especially feels like a rural or mountain place … maybe at the edge of a field on Lopez Island? But no … on Washington Square North in Manhattan! It’s a good place too. (:
I took a picture very much like this one … two years and almost 20 days early than today (here). There the car parked in front matched the brick really well; here the car parked in front has a covering of leafy confetti to match the leafy fringe on the gracefully arching limbs above!
A leisurely late-afternoon ramble today led me by this iconic view … “The Corner,” eh?
The High Line is a great Thanksgiving day walk destination … I remember that when I walked there on Thanksgiving day four years ago (documented here) it was much sunnier (and colder) than it was today. Today it was pretending to rain but still wondrous–definitely one of a universe of things to be thankful for! 🙂
