Butter-colored dogwood blossoms in late-afternoon sunshine … also another example of my new phone’s camera’s dual focus functionality (the car in the background is blurry, yes?)!
And for today’s palindrome, I give you the single word minim, which is not only a palindrome but an example of its own meaning as well. A minim (in the world of lettering anyway) is “a single downstroke of the pen; esp. the short downstroke used in the letters m, n, u, etc.,” this according to the Oxford English Dictionary. Since the letter i is also made with a single downstroke of the pen, you can see what I mean in saying that the word minim exemplifies its meaning: it’s made entirely of minims!
